Prayer Intercession

How To Pray For Your Children

That they will know Christ as Savior and Lord, daily seeking and longing for Him.
(Ps  63:1 ;  Rom. 10: 9-10, 12: 1-2)

That they will know their identity and authority in Christ.
(Rom 6:1-14 ;  Eph 1: 3, 14, 2:6 ;  Jas.4:7)

That they will be caught when guilty, suffering constructive consequences for sin, and experiencing a repentant heart.
(Ps 119 : 67, 71 ;  Rom 2: 4)

That they will be protected from the evil one in every area of life, and have the ability to take every thought captive in obedience to Christ.
(2 Cor. 10: 5 ; 2 Thess 3: 2-3)

That they will respect those in authority over them and reject a spirit of pride and rebellion. (Rom 13: 1-5 ; Eph 6: 1-3 ; 1 Pet 5:5)

That they will desire and find godly friends and be protected from the moral corruption that comes from bad company.
(Pro 13: 20, 18: 24, 27: 5-17 ; 1 Cor 15: 33)

That they and their future mate will be kept sexually pure until marriage.
(1 Cor 6:18-20 ; 1 Thess 4: 3-8)

That they will be kept from a wrong mate and saved for the right one.
(Prov 18: 22 ; 2Cor 6: 14-18)

That they will have God’s wisdom for life choices; college career, ministry and so on.
(Prov 3: 5-6 ; Jas 1: 5-8)

That they will experience a lifetime of godly character development in the power of the Holy Spirit.    (Rom 8: 29 ; Gal 5: 16-23; Eph 5:18)
